Mission Statement: Happy Cat Adoptions is dedicated to making good matches for our foster cats and for adopting families. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, stray, or homeless cats and kittens in the metropolitan Houston, Texas area, as well as providing information for cat care. We are active in "trap, neuter, release" programs, and are especially concerned with providing information and referrals for spay/neuter education.

Mission Statement: I am a volunteer at the shelter and also a volunteer team leader for MCAS marketing. I have helped in many ways: foster, adopter, coordinator for off-site adoptions, assist with rescues, dog walker, computer input, lost dog walk-thru, help to adopt to families. I do it because I don't think we should be killing adoptable animals and I know I can make a difference.

Mission Statement: My name is Crystal Rogers I am the Animal Control Officer for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. I answer calls with the Deputies for stray animals, dangerous animals, and animal bites. I also deal with livestock since we live in a semi rural area. I also maintain the animal shelter where people can drop off stray animal and unwanted pets.

To accomplish our mission we will... · Rescue and rehabilitate homeless animals providing a safe haven for the animals until a suitable adoptive home is found or until they are reunited with their owner through our "Save More Lives" program. · Through our "Humane Education and Public Awareness" program further the cause of responsible animal ownership, the great need to reduce the pet population by spaying or neutering their pets and encourage a stronger bond between people and their pets. · Provide a limited number of low-cost spay/neuter services for the people unable to afford to spay or neuter their pets otherwise through our "Last Litter" program. We are not an open admissions organization and we have a "no-kill policy for healthy, treatable and adoptable animals. VISION We understand that fulfilling our vision will mean a partnership with the entire community and all of our stakeholders. We envision a county where each companion animal finds a permanent and compassionate home, where communities are enriched by the special bond between people and animals, where cruelty no longer exists and where each home practices responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering their pets. Mission Statement: AARF is a non-profit, no kill, all volunteer organization. Our mission is to help as many forgotten, broken and neglected dogs find a home as humanly possible. Willingly volunteering our time, blood, sweat and tears to make sure they are rehabilitated and given a chance at happiness. No breed is turned away. No case is too severe. We are healing hands. Their Fight is our Fight! depend solely upon donations from the public and grants for support. All our board members and fosters are volunteers and the only compensation we receive is the knowledge that we are making a difference. Save A Life, Adopt A Rescue!

Mission Statement: Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds. We have pharmacists, home makers, realtors, geologists, students of all ages, and teachers to list a few. All of us believe that all animals deserve to live and be treated with respect. We don't believe in putting a cat down because it isn't socialized or has health issues. We keep their quality of life at as high of a level as we can, and ultimately let them go (euthanize) before their quality of life deteriorates too much.
